Back in the SARA saddle...

Only a month and a half after announcing I was leaving SARA, I decided to stay.  The greatest reason was the sense that if I didn't stay with my sisters of the pen on some level (even though I still can't make it to many meetings), there was a good chance I would never return to writing.  The whole "Triskelion declaring bankruptcy" thing did throw me for a loop.  Wild Rose Press has contracted my former Trisk books  and THREE OF SWORDS will be back for sale in ebook as soon as July.  Tamra is creating a beautiful new ebook cover for it, and this lifts my spirits.  I love working for WRP---they give me a deep sense of trust, which I need.  Rhonda Penders is in possession of my rights release from Trisk, and I have sent a certified letter to Kristi Studts, as notated in my first contract, formally detailing the end of all contractural agreements between us.  I've learned how precarious this business can be, and have learned a lot about taking care of myself and not assuming anything.  AND, to follow my instincts at all times.  This was one reason why I left Trisk when I did...the pervasive sense that something was very wrong.  I'm glad I listened to myself.  As it is, I am finally moving forward on my work, and have the plot for a triology of paranormal books loosely put together, thanks to Mary, Stacy, Margaret, and the plotting party this past week.  Once I have my final summer school teaching finished tomorrow, I will switch gears.  They have hired me to teach only one class next year, every other day.  This puts teaching as my side job, and pushes writing to my main career.  I'm ready for that.

My father is still very ill.   My mil is still living with us and will probably do so for the immediate future...but she is doing much better.  My Dad was doing better for a while, but now...we do all we can, that is all I can say.

That's it from me, for now.
